LintelDesk ("we", "our", or "the software") is designed from first principles as an offline-first desktop workstation for Windows. We believe your notes, calculations, sprint boards, and system architectures belong exclusively to you.

1. The Zero-Telemetry Guarantee

Unlike web-based subscription applications, LintelDesk contains zero telemetry code, zero analytics SDKs, zero user tracking beacons, and zero advertising libraries.

• The desktop binary does not connect to external servers during regular operation.
• We do not log what files you create, how long you work, or what words you write.
• Your documents and workspaces are never uploaded to any cloud infrastructure or AI model training pipelines.

2. Local File Storage & Sovereignty

All data generated within LintelDesk is stored locally on your hard drive in open, standard file formats (.linteldesk, .md, .csv, .json, .png, .svg). You have complete control over where files are saved, how they are backed up, and when they are deleted.

3. Payment Processing via Shoppex.io

Purchases of LintelDesk commercial licenses are processed through our merchant partner, Shoppex.io. Supported payment methods include Credit/Debit cards and Cryptocurrency.

• When you buy a license, Shoppex collects billing details (such as email address, payment method, and billing country) to complete the transaction and issue your digital receipt.
• Payment information is processed in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. We never see or store your payment details on our servers.
• Shoppex's privacy policy governs how billing details are handled during checkout.

4. Offline License Validation

LintelDesk utilizes local cryptographic verification (Ed25519 signatures). License keys are validated locally on your machine without contacting a cloud DRM licensing server on boot.

5. Website Cookies & Tracking

Our promotional website (linteldesk.com) is a static website. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or ad networks. Essential session storage may be used strictly to remember your download parameters during post-purchase redirects.
